For me, teaching is an extension of my creative practice. Every course is an opportunity to help students discover their own voices as visual storytellers while developing the technical skills, creative confidence, and collaborative mindset needed for professional practice. Whether guiding first-year drawing students or mentoring graduate creators through thesis productions, my goal is to create an environment where curiosity, experimentation, and craftsmanship lead to meaningful growth.

Teaching at Clemson University has allowed me to work across animation, sequential art, storyboarding, visual development, illustration, and collaborative production. Throughout every course, I emphasize that drawing is a way of thinking, storytelling is a way of connecting with others, and creative work is strengthened through collaboration, critique, iteration, and continual practice.

This section explores my teaching philosophy, creative process, collaborative studio projects, mentorship, and the ways these approaches shape learning in my studio.
